Our Work for Good Food Here

By Hailey Stangebye

The health and overall well-being of Ohio residents is an issue that’s close to our hearts (and stomachs). That’s why creating collateral for the Ohio Department of Health’s campaign, “Good Food Here,” was such an appetizing project.

Our challenge was to encourage Ohioans to make healthy choices on a regular basis, which is not a trivial matter. According to the Ohio Department of Health, chronic diseases such as stroke, diabetes and heart disease “are among the most common, costly, and preventable of all health problems in Ohio.” These chronic diseases are so prevalent that they cause almost two-thirds of deaths in Ohio.

According to the Ohio Department of Health, chronic diseases such as stroke, diabetes and heart disease “are among the most common, costly, and preventable of all health problems in Ohio.”

Our neighbors are dying from these health conditions. And the worst part is that they’re largely preventable. Tobacco cessation, increased physical activity and, of course, proper nutrition are integral to a long, healthy life.

Enter, Good Food Here.

Our campaign was designed to teach shoppers that healthy food is affordable, accessible and attractive. To accomplish that goal, we used beautiful food typography mixed with some clever copy. The artwork illustrates that healthy foods — such as fresh fruits and vegetables — are a truly more appealing choice compared to highly processed foods that are packed with sugar.

All we had to do was unveil the natural beauty of good food. Our creative simplified the element of choice for grocery shoppers: vibrant fruits and vegetables, or an unhealthy alternative? Artful presentation makes it easier to choose the former.

Our crave-worthy creative encouraged healthy choices across the entire state, from grocery stores to food pantries. If you want to learn more about how we take an idea and turn it into beautiful, functional campaigns, then reach out.

We’d love to chat over some good food.
